Fitting a kitchen in Wimbledon
Kitchens in every part of Wimbledon are covered, and the survey visit is free wherever you are in Greater London.
Around Wimbledon and the rest of Greater London you will find Victorian and Edwardian terraces, conversion flats, mansion block flats and 1930s semis. Victorian terraces often have a narrow galley beside the side return, while conversion flats and mansion blocks usually fit the kitchen into a small room or along one living-room wall.
Opening a narrow galley into the dining room or side return is one of the most common terrace projects in London. Leasehold flats often call for a full kitchen in a small space, worked around building rules on noise, working hours and waste.
Postcodes covered: SW19. Wimbledon is about 6 miles south-west of Westminster.

Questions about kitchen fitting in Wimbledon
How much does kitchen fitting cost in Wimbledon?
Fitting a medium kitchen you have already bought costs around £3,200 to £4,600 including VAT in Wimbledon, based on prices in London. Smaller jobs such as new worktops or doors cost much less. Your price is fixed in writing after a free survey visit.
Which parts of Wimbledon do you work in?
All of them. Our Greater London coverage takes in the whole of Wimbledon, including the SW19 postcode district, as well as surrounding towns such as Morden. If you are unsure, send us your postcode.
Who carries out the work?
You have one contract with Kitchen Installers UK and one point of contact. The fitting is done by kitchen fitters working under our management, and the specialist work by qualified trades: Gas Safe registered engineers for any gas work, electricians who test and certify their work to BS 7671, and plumbers, tilers and plasterers, each booked in the right order.
Do you remove the old kitchen?
Yes. Removing the old kitchen is usually part of the job: units, worktops, appliances and, where agreed, old tiles. Gas is capped by a Gas Safe registered engineer and circuits made safe by an electrician first. Waste and packaging go through licensed waste routes, and removal is shown as its own line in your quote.
