Fitting a kitchen in Kirkby
We work throughout Kirkby (L32) and across the wider Merseyside area.
Around Kirkby and the rest of Merseyside you will find Victorian terraces, Victorian and Edwardian villas, 1930s semis and converted warehouse flats. Two-up two-down terraces often have a small back kitchen off the living room, while 1930s semis tend to have a separate kitchen with space to open into a dining room.
Knocking a small back kitchen through to the living room is a common way to make space for a table in a terrace. Large Victorian villas split into flats often mean fitting a full kitchen into one room, with shared services and stair access to plan around.
Postcodes covered: L32. Kirkby is about 6 miles north-east of Liverpool.

How much does kitchen fitting cost in Kirkby?

Which parts of Kirkby do you work in?

Who carries out the work?
You have one contract with Kitchen Installers UK and one point of contact. The fitting is done by kitchen fitters working under our management, and the specialist work by qualified trades: Gas Safe registered engineers for any gas work, electricians who test and certify their work to BS 7671, and plumbers, tilers and plasterers, each booked in the right order.
Do I need building regulations approval or certificates for a new kitchen?
Fitting units does not need approval, but parts of the job may. Electrical work is tested and certified to BS 7671, and notifiable work in England and Wales is notified through a registered competent person scheme or building control. Gas work is done by Gas Safe registered engineers. For load-bearing walls we arrange building control approval, or a building warrant in Scotland.
